Destin-Fort Walton Beach is the perfect place to learn how to surf thanks to the typically smaller waves of the Gulf. Your instructor will teach you things like how to stand up, get your balance and why surf wax is a beginner’s best friend. All the surf instructors know the best spots to catch waves along the coast. They will also bring everything you need so just come with a swimsuit, some towels and a snack!
